CAMDEN, Del.- A 34-year-old Camden woman is facing multiple charges following a burglary spree that occurred in the Hartly area. Delaware State Police said that shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, troopers responded to the 1800 block of Slaughter Station Road regarding a theft complaint. It’s the fish’s job to get off the hook

Summer fishing is in full swing at the beach, the bays and offshore. There’s a lot going on in the water depending on what you want to target. This makes for more options and a better day; if you get skunked with one species you can try for something else or fish for both at the same time. But if all four rods bend over, you have fast decisions to make. One reason to limit the number of rods you set out is so you can control your catches better. Fewer lines decrease the catch odds but increases the landed fish factor. It is the fish’s job to get off the hook.

Cape major softball all-stars fall to Millsboro

The Cape major softball all-stars finished the 2022 postseason run with an 11-5 loss to Millsboro June 27 in Georgetown. They lost their first game 8-6 to Laurel June 26. Cape’s Teagan Baker knocked in three runs on an inside-the-park home run. Baker went 3.2 innings in the pitching circle, striking out four. Bailey Mears came in from the bullpen and threw 1.1 innings, striking out three.
