Franklin Parish School District adopts four day school week

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Major change is coming to the Franklin Parish School District. The school board approved to operate under a four-day school week. Officials say they are going to a four-day school week to attract more certified teachers to the area. Franklin Parish Superintendent John Gullatt says it’s already successful in other Parishes.
