Pasco, Walla Walla airports earn grants

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) announced this week the Tri-Cities Airport and Walla Walla Regional Airport have been awarded more than $7.8 million in grants from the Federal Aviation Administration. The airport improvement program grants will help fund renovations for the airports in Franklin and Walla Walla counties.

In Benton and Franklin Counties, AAA reports that gas prices are actually below the state average. The average price for a gallon of gas in Benton County is approximately $4.94 a gallon. In Franklin County, the average price is $4.99.
