PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Sheetz has lowered its price for unleaded 88 gasoline to $3.99 a gallon through the Fourth of July holiday.  Sheetz announced in a release Monday that it is lowering its prices to "reduce pain at the pump for consumers" effective immediately. Sheetz added that is selling E85 gasoline for $3.49 a gallon.  "Unleaded 88 is approved by the EPA for use in vehicles for model years 2001 or newer as well as light-duty trucks, SUVs and Flex Fuel Vehicles," Sheetz said in a release. The event is scheduled to take place on August 5 and 6, 2022. The organization is looking for more than 1,000 volunteers to assist with the clinic.

Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano is reporting this morning that the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department was called out around 10PM last night to the former Angeles Apartment building at the corner of 14th street and 7th Ave. after the building was struck by lightning. The roadway in that area is currently closed due to safety concerns as debris from the chimney of the building fell to the street below. The City of Beaver Falls Public Works Department was also dispatched to the scene to clean up the debris.

OCEAN CITY — Three Pennsylvania men and a juvenile were arrested last weekend for an alleged strong-armed robbery in the downtown area. Around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officers responded to the area of 20th Street and Philadelphia Avenue for a reported strong-armed robbery. Officers met with a 25-year-old victim from Baltimore, who informed police he had been assaulted by three males who had stolen some of his personal property, according to police reports.

For years, Diane Ward and Mary McLaughlin criss-crossed the country and came oh-so-close as they circled each others' orbits. McLaughlin, living in suburban Detroit during her youth, regularly visited her adoptive family's relatives in suburban Pittsburgh. At the time, Ward was living in suburban Pittsburgh with her own adoptive family while making frequent trips to visit that family's relatives in suburban Detroit.
