Foster County Primary Election Results

CARRINGTON, N.D. ( The unofficial results are in for the 2022 Primary Election in Foster County. There were 612 ballots cast out of 2860 eligible voters. In the State Senator race for District 29, Terry Wanzek received 434 votes for the Republican nomination. Ben Vig received 112 votes for the Democratic-NPL nomination. For the two seats in the State Representative Race for District 29, Craig Headland received 390 votes and Don Vigesaa received 357 for the Republican nomination. Charles Linderman received 115 votes for the Democratic-NPL nomination.

Stolen vehicle leads agencies on multi-county pursuit

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – A stolen vehicle in Devils Lake led to a multi-county pursuit involving different agencies Friday afternoon. Foster County Sheriff Justin Johnson said his department was informed of a stolen vehicle traveling on Highway 20 south, leaving Eddy County and entering Foster County at around 5:30 p.m. Speeds in the pursuit remained around 90 mph.
