Sedalia Police Reports For July 1, 2022

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. On the evening of June 29th, Daisy N. Marcos-Rubio came to the Police Department to report a theft. Marcos-Rubio reported that between July 2021 and September 2021, property was purchased in the 700 block of West 4th Street for an amount over $1000. The victim would later learn the original property owner couldn't sell the property because of a pending civil issue. The original property owner sold the properties anyway.

Sedalia Police Report For June 30, 2022

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 1300 block of East 5th Street for a report of assault. The victim reported that a neighbor known to him had come over to his home and beat him. The victim sustained injuries, but refused medical treatment at the scene. The suspect fled the area and was not located. A charge of Assault in the 3rd Degree is being requested from the Pettis County Prosecutor.

Jefferson City man sentenced following two burglaries at Russellville school bus facility

A Jefferson City man is sentenced to probation for charges related to two burglaries at the Russellville school bus facility. Christopher Pigford, 21, pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges Monday, including accessory to second-degree tampering, accessory to first-degree trespassing and accessory to second-degree property damage. Felony stealing, burglary and property damage charges were dropped.
