Rosepine to host Net Rippers Basketball Camp

ROSEPINE — Rosepine basketball coaches C.T. Kiely, Logan Maddox and Joe Richey will be hosting the annual Net Rippers Basketball Camp at RHS from July 25-27, 2022. There will be two sessions of the camp each day. Boys and girls ages 5-8 will be in action from 8-11 a.m. each day, while those boys and girls ages 9-14 will take to the court between noon and 3 p.m.

Eugene Broxson Jr., age 78, beloved Husband, Dad, and Poppy passed away June 25, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Eugene “Gene” was born May 9, 1944, in DeQuincy, La., to Eugene Sr. and Ira Bea (Shroll) Broxson. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sondra Aline (Broxson) Hyman of Metairie, La. LEESVILLE, La. (KPLC/Gray News) - Police say a Louisiana man chained his fiancée in the bedroom after he accused her of infidelity. Robert Allen McCrary, 30, is accused of placing an 8 1/2 foot chain around each of the woman’s wrists with padlocks, according to Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft.
