Wine in Our Pines returns this weekend

PINETOP-LAKESIDE — Wine in Our Pines began in 2019 and was technically sold out before the event began. Following a premiere event, there are usually tweaks made — learned from the first — that make the event even more attractive the next year, but COVID-19 happened. PINETOP-LAKESIDE – For the second time since 2020, Citizens for Quality Development have requested a referendum on City Council approval for zoning the theme park on Vallery Lane – two separate requests from two different owners. For the second time, signatures for a referendum have been verified by the city and Navajo County, and the issue of the new zone will now be sent to voters by postal vote on November 2nd.
