5 Blues Players That Would Make Good Trade Bait

The St. Louis Blues have wrapped up their 2021-22 season with a 49-22-11 record and third place in the Central Division. They also made it to the playoffs, where they got eliminated in six games by the eventual Stanley Cup champion, Colorado Avalanche. The club currently has 10 players (three forwards, six defensemen, and one goaltender) under contract beyond the 2022-23 season. With a multitude of contracts coming due to current and future cornerstone pieces, cap space will be a crucial component of the teams’ success moving forward. With that in mind, here are five players the front office could use as trade bait to create cap space and create positional depth.

The incident happened just after 1:45 a.m. Police tell News 4 that two of the suspects confronted the victim, pulled out handguns, and demanded her wallet and car keys.

Woman shot in face in North City double shooting

Two men shot in Alton, Illinois early Tuesday morning

ALTON, Ill. – Two men were shot early Tuesday morning in Alton, Illinois. Reports of a shooting in the Riverfront Park area were reported at approximately 12:47 a.m. Investigators said “several subjects met at this location, at which point an argument occurred. During the argument, several gunshots were fired.”

3 first responders hurt in St. Charles County house fire

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - Four people were injured in a house fire in a St. Charles County neighborhood Tuesday morning. The fire happened on Wood Oaks Drive before 7 a.m. When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they reported seeing the home fully engulfed in flames and hearing screams coming from inside. Firefighters entered the home through a side window and lifted a woman out of the same window to an off-duty firefighter and officers with the St. Charles County Police Department.
