Florida Man Arrested After Throwing Knife At Brother “Over Some Chicken”

Florida man is at it again, this time two brothers arguing “over some chicken,” and one of them getting a knife in the leg. According to a complaint affidavit by the St. Petersburg Police Department, officers responded to a home on 4oth Street South in St. Pete at 9:30 pm on June 14th. Police say that 19-year-old Messiah Harris-Smith, 19, and his brother Josiah disagreed over chicken.

1 person is dead after a truck hit pedestrians at a Florida Pride parade

(CNN) — Two pedestrians at a Pride parade near Miami on Saturday were hit by a truck, leaving one dead and the other injured, according to police. "Both males were taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where one was pronounced deceased," said Fort Lauderdale Police Department detective Ali Adamson at a Saturday night press conference. The second victim is expected to survive.

Good thing they’re always prepared. A great deal in Florida turned out to be too good to be true for a couple of Boy Scout troops. Georgia Scout Leader Scott Mulkey booked two homes in the Florida Keys via Airbnb for troops 5506 and 506 from northeast Georgia so he and the 23 boys could go snorkeling, fishing and camping. But when the group arrived, they found the houses didn’t even exist.
