Kathryn represented the Upshur County CEOS at the event, which is held each year beginning the third Thursday in June. Black has been a member of the Teter CEOS for the last six years and previously a part of Hickory Flat club for twenty years.

Officials with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call around 5:30 p.m. from a neighbor who witnessed the crash. It occurred on the 400 block of Jefferson Drive.

Wood County Commission discusses Pond Creek waterline

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Commission said it would needs over $5 million to finish a waterline project in the Pond Creek area that would serve over 80 customers. County officials have been looking at options to try to get waterlines extended to those people.
