Two seniors that attend school at Taylorville High School were awarded a scholarship by the Taylorville Memorial Foundation. Trojans Pick Up Win Number 30 En Route to Sectional Title Game

The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans got their 30th win of the season on Thursday night when they defeated Gillespie in the Sectional semifinal with an 8-1 final. PATOKA — Vicky Lee “Vic” Morris, 71, of Patoka passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Patoka. She was born on October 14, 1950, the daughter of Carroll Gene and Mary Elizabeth (Wadkins) Meyerin Centralia. She married Milton Morris on November 10, 1979, in Mt. Vernon and he survives in Patoka.
