The Bangs City Council held a Special Called Meeting Wednesday night, June 29, with all members present. Mayor Rick Phelps presided over the meeting. The Council spent about an hour and a half in Executive Session over three items that were listed on the agenda dealing with pending on contemplated litigation. No action was taken on any of the items once back in open session.

Once again, the Smoke on the Hill State Championship BBQ Cookoff will be rocking out Richards Park in Brady this coming weekend (June 17-18) with many activities.
