WASHINGTON PARISH - Two people were killed, and three were injured Saturday night after a suspected impaired driver crashed their vehicle into two trees. State Police said the single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday on LA 440 near LA 450 in Mount Hermon. It claimed the lives of 31-year-old Pamela Brown and 16-year-old Jaquan Brown.

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office searching for missing teenager

KENTWOOD, La. (BRPROUD) – A 15-year-old is missing in Kentwood. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Division is searching for Sue Ann Williams, 15, who was last seen near Kentwood around 11 p.m. on May 13. The sheriff’s office says that Williams was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, blue shorts, and black tennis shoes.

Gail, age 79, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was a native of Ruth, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Gail emersed herself in serving others working with French Corner Baptist Church. She was a very generous and loving individual. Gail was always getting out traveling making wonderful memories, going to auctions, and loved to watch the Saints games. While home, she would often be found cooking (especially baking) wonderful dishes, and also solving crossword puzzles. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
