MARQUETTE, MI— Two Upper Peninsula municipalities and a health center have received state and federal funding to enhance services for residents. The City of Gaastra in Iron County has received about $103,000 through Michigan’s Financially Distressed Cities, Villages and Townships Grant Program. The money will be used to replace water meters.
