CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - Clovis police are looking for a man involved in an armed robbery at an Allsups on Saturday evening. According t o officials, on Saturday, June 25, at around 10:23 p.m., employees at the Allsups near W. 7th St. called Clovis Dispatch and reported an armed robbery that had just happened.

Clovis police capture bank robbery suspect

On Friday, June 17th, 2022, and on Monday, June 27th, 2022, two bank robberies occurred in Clovis New Mexico. During this investigation, numerous statements and security videos were collected. Security videos collected from local businesses around the area of these two banks led to the identification of a black SUV driven by the suspect.

VIDEO STILLS FROM ALLSUPS ROBBERY RELEASED

On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:23 p.m., employees at the Allsup’s located at 2600 W. 7th St. called into Clovis Dispatch and reported an armed robbery that had just occurred. The suspect was described by the clerk as an African American male, approximately 6 foot, 300 pounds. Employees stated the male came into the store wearing a camo hooded jacket, a face covering, with a firearm in one hand, and a paper bag in the other. With the store clerks at gunpoint, the suspect demanded money from the cash register be put into the paper bag.
