Two men in custody following Wednesday night shooting in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Farmville Police Department (FDP) arrested two men Friday evening in relation to Wednesday night’s shooting in Lynchburg. At 5:03 p.m. on Friday, July 1, Police were discharged to the Super 8 by Windham Farmville, located at 2012 S. Main Street, in response to a report of suspicious activity, authorities say.

Suspects arrested from Poplar Street shooting

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The Farmville Police Department arrested two suspects on Friday evening two days after the June 29 shooting on Poplar Street in Lynchburg. Around 5 pm the FPD responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Super 8 in Farmville. Richard McDaniel and Taurus McDaniel were arrested without incident and transported to Piedmont Regional Jail where they are held without bond.
