Woman in custody after witnesses say she pepper sprayed patrons at Walmart in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Fargo woman is in custody after police say she pepper sprayed patrons at the North Walmart in Bismarck Thursday. Bismarck police say they were called to a fight at the store and found 26-year-old Kassie Jo Redroad with an off-duty deputy who was restraining her. Witnesses told police Redroad was shoplifting and someone approached her. Dispatchers told police that Redroad had pepper sprayed multiple people including three Walmart employees.

Two men have been arrested after a high-speed chase that began in Minnesota and ended with a crash in North Dakota near Fargo. Sheriff’s officials say a vehicle was traveling at nearly 100 mph in Clay County, Minnesota Wednesday afternoon. According to authorities, the driver stopped and he and a passenger switched seats before the vehicle took off again.

Fargo man accused of assaulting girl enters not guilty pleas

FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – Larry Baldner has pleaded not guilty on charges he attacked a girl and used a racial slur. Baldner, 73, of Fargo is charged with aggravated assault against a victim under the age of 12, preventing arrest and simple assault. Baldner’s attorney filed a waiver for a preliminary hearing and entered not guilty pleas.

MOORHEAD — A Dilworth man is in jail after Clay County deputies said he brought weapons into the courthouse. Dale Allen Whitefeather, 34, was scheduled to appear Friday morning, Oct. 22, in Clay County District Court on two felony charges of possessing a dangerous weapon in a courthouse. FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The effectiveness of restraining orders has been called into question by many in the Valley this week after a fatal shooting in Casselton. Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says 58-year-old Randell Burton was shot and killed early Monday morning after he broke into a woman’s home through two locked doors and barreled toward her bedroom. Court documents show Burton was ordered to have no contact with the woman due to an ongoing domestic violence case.
