Multiple crashes on I-29 north of Fargo Thursday night; no injuries

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle was struck by a semi northbound on I-29 near Argusville around 7 p.m. Thursday. A state trooper had responded to a four-vehicle crash and the SUV was parked with its emergency lights flashing in the passing lane. The vehicles involved in the crash were blocking the lane. The trooper had exited the patrol vehicle to check on those in the vehicles involved in the crash when a semi towing an empty cattle trailer struck the rear of the parked patrol SUV. The semi then jackknifed into the median. No one was injured.

Moorhead woman faces several violent crime charges after arrest

(Moorhead, MN) -- A Moorhead woman is charged with with 2nd degree attempted murder, among other charges in relation to crimes she committed this past Friday, January 20th. The Moorhead Police Department tells WDAY Radio that Kasondra Perez was taken into custody after she went to a person's home earlier in the day and assaulted them, then attempted to light two other people on fire after spraying one with lighter fluid. She later transported another victim to a different home in Moorhead, where she is accused of sexually assaulting that victim before they could escape out a window.

Fargo man dead after snowmobile crash

ERIE TOWNSHIP, M.N.(Valley News Live) - A Fargo man is dead following a snowmobile crash in Erie Township Sunday, authorities say. Becker County Deputies were called to the intersection of County Hwy 32 and South Cotton Lake Rd. They say the caller reported that 34-year-old Scott Darrel Fossum rolled his snowmobile into the ditch, and that he was not breathing or wearing a helmet.

MN snowmobile crashes reported

The Becker County Sheriff’s Department has identified a 34-year old Fargo man who died when he rolled his snowmobile in a ditch near Detroit Lakes on Sunday. Authorities say Scott Fossum apparently lost control of the sled and crashed near the intersection of Highway 32 and South Cotton Lake Road. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet.
