Gardnerville Man Sentenced After Disrupting Flight to Las Vegas

A man who disrupted a flight to Las Vegas, has been sentenced to six months of home confinement and one year of probation. 41 year old Daniel Parkhurst of Gardnerville pleaded guilty in February to one count of interference with a flight crew, and one count of assault. In the October 2019 incident, Parkhurst was accused of touching a woman’s leg with his hand, then punching her repeatedly when she pushed his hand away. He was ordered to pay $49 thousand dollars in restitution. Flight attendants and other passengers intervened, and the flight landed in Reno.
