Verda Arlean King Hadley Bell, beloved mother, grandmother, quilter, and accomplished singer passed away peacefully, on May 9th, 2022, 20 days after her 99th birthday. A Funeral Service will be held for Verda on Saturday, May 14th at 2 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fairfield, Montana. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the Service.
Montana high school track and field: Cascade Badgers sweep 10C meet going away
The Cascade Badgers were on a roll Saturday, one of a dominating nature they swept the top team hardware at the District 10C track nad field championships at Memorial Stadium.
The Lady Badgers racked up 156 points, 67 more than runnerup Power. Simms took third with 86, and Sunburst fourth with 83. Augusta, Dutton-Brady and Valier rounded out the seven-team girls' field.

KSEN/K96 Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the Week
(UNDATED) – Our KSEN/K96-Bozeman Trophy Athlete’s of the Week are dominating the competition in their individual spring sports. Female Athlete of the Week honors go to Fairfield Sr. Emma Woods. “Dominate,” is the proper word here as she won the Divisional Class B Golf Tournament at Malta with an 80, 19 strokes ahead of 2nd place. And that wasn’t even her best score on the Malta course where earlier this year she shot a 75 there. She also carded a 74 earlier this year at Marias Valley for her best score of the year.
