Bass, pike, and one whale of a walleye

Natalie Nojaim, 15, of Camillus NY hauled in this whale of a walleye on Memorial Day weekend. It measured 32 inches and weighed nearly 12 pounds. She caught it while trolling in 18-inches of water on the Canadian side of the St Lawrence River, in the narrows near the bridge between Hill Island and Canada. For bait, Natalie used a deep-diving purple Rapala on 8 lb. test line.

Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse tours resume for the season

(WSYR-TV) — Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse tours will begin for the season on Friday, June 17. The next tour dates will be on June 24 and 25. According to the H. Lee White Marine Museum, visitors to the Lighthouse should plan to spend about two hours for their experience.
