YORK – Last winter, the Hampton Hawks began to sow the seeds of improvement thanks to a four-man senior class and a key group of underclassmen. With the seniors graduated a core group of juniors and sophomores aim to take the next step in the first season under head coach Dalton Miller.

WESTERN — A portion of Quaker Hill Road in the Town of Western will be temporarily closed during the day from June 27 to June 30. The Western Highway Department said the road will be closed for repairs. The closure will be between Beartown Road and Wilson Road. The closure will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
