The city of St. Louis Park said that a 12-inch water main broke early Saturday morning. More than 50 homes south of Minnetonka Boulevard had sewer water pouring into their basements. Minneapolis shoppers will have one less clothing store to purchase from as another popular fashion brand closes its doors for good. This may be the most difficult to evaluate in many respects, as the Vikings are moving to a 3-4 front that has subtle differences in trait and skillset requirements. There are also quite a few players with not much to form an evaluation on in terms of NFL regular season experience, so that will make the roster projections for the back half of the depth chart more difficult too.

Driver Hurt After Fiery Crash On I-94 In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A fiery crash on westbound Interstate 94 in St. Paul on Wednesday left a driver hurt and led to a significant traffic backup toward the end of the evening commute. The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. when a single vehicle crashed into a wall near the Highway 280 intersection. After the crash, the car began to smoke before bursting into flame. (credit: MnDOT) The driver was hurt, but troopers described the injures as not life-threatening. According to MnDOT traffic cameras, the westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for roughly 20 minutes, leading to a traffic backup. The westbound lanes in the area have since reopened.

Early morning robbery attempt leaves woman hospitalized, two arrested

(FOX 9) - Two men have been arrested after a robbery attempt in the city of Newport that left a woman hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 7 a.m. on May 14 police received a call to an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Eighth Avenue for an adult woman who had been shot and was bleeding from the abdomen.
