Houston girl injured in wreck north of Cabool

A 15-year-old girl from Houston sustained injuries Saturday in a crash about four miles north of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Cpl. Justin Piccinino said a southbound 2019 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Kerry J. Hartman, 64, of Houston, travelled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Sommerfield Drive in Houston damaged; closes early Sunday morning

A Houston street was closed early Sunday after heavy rains swept through the area. Sommerfield Drive was closed just after 3 a.m. after it collapsed near U.S. 63. Signage is up on the south end of the street after pavement was washed away and the road collapsed.

Three Arrested, Five Detained for Illegal Narcotics Operation

Mountain Grove, MO. – Three individuals have been arrested out of the area of Mountain Grove on Wednesday, June 29th. The investigation started with a tip of information stating that an illegal narcotics operation was being performed at a residence near N Highway. Upon response and investigation, officers spotted an ATV with two individuals riding it who attempted to escape. One of the riders fled to a nearby house, where she and other occupants refused to submit to a search.

Area man charged after damaging MSHP vehicle

After a traffic stop initiated by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Tuesday (June 28) near Cabool, a Mansfield man faces several charges, including one felony. Martin A.
