Downs man faces multiple requested drug charges after Marion stop
MARION — A Downs man was arrested on multiple requested drug charges early this morning after a traffic stop for speeding on U.S. Highway 56 at Marion. The Marion Police Department reported on its Facebook page this morning that an officer made a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 56 near Ridge Road on a vehicle traveling over the posted speed limit.
