Semi crash injures two Friday near Fergus Falls

(Fergus Falls, MN)--Two people have reportedly been injured in a semi crash in Otter Tail County. The crash took place Friday morning near Fergus Falls along I-94. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Volvo semi, driven by Gerald Donnell Price, 54, of Indianapolis, Indiana; was travelling westbound on I-94 when it lost control and rolled onto its passenger side blocking all westbound lanes.

Greg A. Neumann, 58, of Battle Lake, passed away on June 23, 2022 at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. Greg A. Neumann was born July 2, 1963 in Houston, Texas to parents, Elmer and Betty J. “B.J.” (Anderson) Neumann. He graduated from El Camp High School and then attended Texas A&M for three years before going to South West Texas. In 1993, Greg moved to Henning, Minnesota where he started his career in bartending. He worked at various bars before starting his job at Shoreline where he worked for over 10 years. Greg loved traveling and sports, especially the Houston Astros. Greg was a people person, he enjoyed meeting new people and talking to others. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie C. and Alice M. Neumann, Arvie and Louise B. Anderson; aunts, Kay Rhodes and Jeanie Anderson; and uncle, John K. Neumann. He is survived by his parents, Elmer E. and Betty J. “B.J.” Neumann; and aunts, Joan Conway and Karen Neumann. Celebration of Life was Thursday June 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Shoreline in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Interment was at Girard Township Cemetery Glende-Nilson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Battle Lake was in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be made online at www.GlendeNils on.com.

(Battle Lake, MN) -- Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Otter Tail County Sunday afternoon. The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 78 at County Road 72 near Battle Lake just after noon. Troopers say a GMC Canyon driven by 55-year-old Tony Robert Gerlach was traveling southbound on Highway 78 while a Ford F150, driven by 29-year-old Turner Mark Blaufuss was traveling northbound on the roadway when the vehicles collided.

Woman injured when box truck rear-ends pickup truck on Highway 34 at Highland Drive

DETROIT LAKES — A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the Highland Drive and Highway 34 intersection in Detroit Lakes on Friday, July 1. At 3:19 p.m., Becker County emergency dispatchers received a report of a crash involving a "vehicle and a semi," with a driver who was trapped and suffered unknown injuries. Within minutes of the crash, Detroit Lakes police officers, Becker County deputies, Detroit Lakes firefighters, Minnesota state troopers and EMS personnel were successful in freeing a woman from her red Dodge Ram pickup and loaded her into a nearby ambulance, where she was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
