Here’s the cheapest gas in Moses Lake Saturday

(MOSES LAKE, WA) For bargain hunters there may be no better target than gas, with the cheapest station in the Moses Lake area offering savings of $0.58 per gallon. According to a survey by GasBuddy, Safeway at 601 S Pioneer Way was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $3.21 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. That was compared to Shell at 1253 S Pioneer Way, where a gallon of regular was selling for $3.79.

Moses Lake as clean and clear as it’s been in 40 years, and that may be a reason for concern

MOSES LAKE – Ron Sawyer said the water in Moses Lake is as clear and clean as he’s seen it in the 40 years he’s owned and operated Cascade Marina. “Until about two or three days ago, we could see the bottom,” the boating supply shop owner said of the clarity of the water in Moses Lake. “And we can look out and see the fish swimming around 18 feet off the dock.”

Two people arrested after law enforcement officers storm home in Sunland Estates

A man and woman were arrested after a standoff Thursday that ended when law enforcement officials stormed a home in the Sunland Estates area of Grant County. The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and Grant County Sheriff’s Office were looking to arrest Shawn M. Entzel, 39, at a home in the 25000 block of Quincy Street Southwest on three felony warrants for violating no-contact orders.

Fugitive arrested after shelter-in-place order issued in Wanapum area

GEORGE - 39-year-old Shawn Enztel of the Sunland Estates area in Quincy was arrested after he was found hiding in the attic space in his home on Thursday. Grant County Sheriff's Office officials say Entzel was wanted by authorities after violating a no-contact order and had two felony warrants for violation of domestic violence no-contact order.
