St. Albans man accused of flashing handgun at trooper

A St. Albans man allegedly flashed a handgun at a state trooper who was trying to stop him for speeding on Interstate 89 south in the town of Georgia Tuesday morning. Dyllon Camley, 29, has been charged with reckless endangerment and careless and negligent driving and is due in court June 20. Police are working with the Franklin County State's Attorney's Office on the case, and said more charges could be filed.

Newport man denies stealing catalytic converters

NEWPORT — Police say they have found the man responsible for a rash of catalytic converter thefts around northern Orleans County. Elijah J. Emerson, 31, of Newport, appeared in the Criminal Division of Orleans County Superior Court May 18 and pled innocent to felony charges of grand larceny and unlawful mischief.

St. Albans man accused of speeding, displaying gun to trooper

GEORGIA, Vt. (WCAX) - A St. Albans man is accused of displaying a handgun to a Vermont trooper while speeding down the interstate. Police say Dyllon Camley, 29, of St. Albans, was driving south on the interstate in Georgia around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday. A state trooper in an unmarked cruiser clocked Camley going nearly 100 mph.

Judge: Man charged in murder of transgender woman to remain behind bars

HYDE PARK, Vt. (WCAX) - The man accused of murdering a transgender woman last month in Morristown will remain behind bars. Seth Brunell, 43, pleaded not guilty last month to second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 29-year-old Fern Feather of Hinesburg. According to court documents, Brunell spent several days with Feather and he claimed Feather made a sexual advance. Brunell claimed he stabbed Feather in self-defense on April 12, but police say there’s no evidence of that attack.

Born in Haverhill, New Hampshire, he was raised and educated in Newton, New Hampshire, graduating from Sanborn Regional High School in the class of 1988. He was a true free spirit and for over twenty years he lived by the barter system as a handyman in northern Vermont, an area he truly loved. His introduction to the handyman trade began while he worked at his uncle’s carpentry business. His love of hiking and the outdoors started in his youth when he was a Boy Scout and over the years this love grew to include snowmobiling, boating, and skiing.
