BRISTOL, Va. (WCYB) — A missing 15-year-old boy may be in possession of a handgun, according to the Bristol, Virginia Police Department. Skyler Anthony Cook was last seen at his Bristol home on August 7 at around 4 p.m. He is described as 5-foot-5 and weighs 160 pounds, police said. He has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing dark gray sweatpants, a dark gray shirt, white athletic shoes, and a red baseball hat.

MOUNTAIN CITY — Mountain City’s Brandon Pritt took home the honors of Best in Show with his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the Joe Barlow/Kim Sutton Car, Truck and Bike Show held in Mountain City, Tenn. on Friday, Aug. 5. Pritt is the son of Angela Marlow and Carey Pritt, and grandson of Patsy Allen of Creston. This is the eighth year of the show that benefits the Joe Barlow Scholarship Fund. Barlow was a 20-year member of the Johnson County EMS that died in the line of duty in a vehicle accident in 2009 when the Johnson County Rescue Squad ambulance he was driving was involved in a head-on collision.
