One Arrested, Two Sought in Triple Murder in Aiken

One person is in custody and two more are being sought in connection with the weekend shooting deaths of three teens in Aiken. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says 17 year old Willie Garrett IV, 16 year old Ivan Perry and 16 year old Cameron Carroll were shot outside a home in the 200 block of Wadley Drive around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Garrett and Perry died at the scene. Carroll died later at Augusta University Medical Center.

Aiken Shooting Leaves Three Dead, Three Suspects Sought

The search continues for three suspects following a deadly shooting Sunday afternoon in the 200 block of Wadley Drive in Aiken County. The sheriff’s office says deputies were sent to the home around 1:30 p.m. after getting a report of shots fired. They found three teens in the front yard with gunshot wounds. Two died at the scene and the third died later in the day at Augusta University Medical Center.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle and two witnesses to the possible drowning incident on Saturday at Gem Lakes. At approximately 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Aiken Public Safety was assisted by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources with retrieving the body of a Black male from the recreational area of Gem Lakes in regarding to a possible drowning.
