PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Fire Department responded to another fire at a supposedly vacant structure at 1302 Ramsey St. early Wednesday morning, officials said. The fire started on the second floor of the house toward the front, Fire Chief Jason Matthews said. It looks to have been intentionally set, he said.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Parkersburg woman has died after a single vehicle crash on Memorial Day. According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Michelle Nicole Dowler-Sams was traveling at a high rate of speed in the westbound lane of Lost Pavement Road when she apparently lost control while making a turn near Hope Hill Road.
