Grow For It! Aphids

Aphids, aphids and more aphids! How do they multiply? Fast, faster and fastest! Their colors can be in-your-face brilliant red, neon green or deceptively the exact color of the plant they are thriving on. They have piercing, sucking mouthparts taking in life-sustaining liquids from plants. In that process, they are secreting a sticky substance commonly called honeydew. High aphid populations can slow plant growth and cause leaves to yellow, curl or drop early. Some species of aphids distort stems or fruit or cause galls on roots, leaves or stems.
