All river flow measurements were taken on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, before the rains blessed us. We are thankful for the rain this past week and pray for more. Many have received an abundance, and some have only received a small amount. In this area, we will take it! This is a great time to harvest rainwater to save for a dry spell. Rainwater is great for the garden or other outdoor chores.

Rocksprings survives Winter Weather 2021

Rocksprings is located in a remote part of Texas, and is very rural, so we are used to not having any of the modern necessities like Doordash or Favor. We don’t have an Uber or Lyft...there is nothing like that. The closest thing we have for convenience services is through the Edwards County Senior Activity Center and they will deliver meals to the senior citizens. Other than that, we can use scheduled curbside pick up services offered by HEB or Walmart in their locations, for example, but no deliveries.
