Licking, MO. – A Newburg, MO man has been charged with a misdemeanor after a one-vehicle accident left his passengers seriously injured. Dannie Wilson, a 37-year-old male, was driving a 2014 Chevy Captiva on Highway 63, 1 mile North of Licking, when he crashed. The crash occurred as Wilson traveled into the left lane, overcorrected, went off the right side of the roadway, and went airborne, striking an embankment and several trees.

A Pulaski County man is arrested after he douses a woman with gasoline. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department reports it was called Monday afternoon to a home in the 18000 block of Laddie Lane for a structure fire. By the time deputies arrived, the fire was no longer actively burning and a female victim told them Jeramiah Schiedel, of St. Robert, had doused her with gas, then attempted to light her on fire. The woman was able to escape without further injury, but advised deputies Schiedel was still in the home, armed with a handgun.

Two Shooting Incidents within 3 days at Roby residence lead to Arrests, Injuries

The Texas County Sheriff’s Office has responded to a residence in Roby for two separate shooting incidents within a three-day period, resulting in two arrests and one person injured. On June 30, 2022, at approximately 1:10 AM deputies and the sheriff were dispatched to a residence on Roby Road for a report of a male shooting a rifle at family members and another guest. The reporting person and another family member fled into a wooded area near the residence and the male guest left the immediate area. Deputies arrived and set up command post a short distance from the residence. The family members were able to walk out to the safe area at the command post, while the suspect remained inside the residence.
