A Paducah man was arrested Monday for stealing items from a vehicle, less than a week after he was arrested for the same thing, according to police. Paducah Police said they received a complaint of a man breaking into a parked car on Broadway, where a woman's purse and other belongings were stolen. The victim said she used an app to track a cell phone in her purse and allegedly found the man who took the items.

Marion man arrested after armed parking lot confrontation

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – One person was arrested after an armed confrontation Sunday in the parking lot of Pirate Pete’s, a family arcade and entertainment center in Marion. Marion Police say Robert Czuprynski, 58, and another man got into an argument inside the business and employees asked the pair to take it outside. They took their disagreement outside to the parking lot where police say Czuprynski pointed a loaded gun at the other person. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

2 hurt in Franklin County motorcycle accident

ZEIGLER, Ill. (WJPF) – Two people were hurt Saturday in a motorcycle crash in Franklin County. It happened about 10:15 p.m. on Route 148 in between Herrin and Zeigler. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Michael Stone, 48, of Marion was southbound when he lost control of the bike and crashed. Stone and his passenger, Shannon Tolbert, 48, were both thrown from the motorcycle and airlifted from the scene.
