Convictions in three murders upheld in Supreme Court

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- The Supreme Court of Georgia heard appeals filed by three men who were arrested in connection to separate murders. Jemerius Goodman was convicted of felony murder for the 2017 fatal drive-by shooting of Jyleel Soloman in Milledgeville and filed an appeal, arguing that there was insufficient evidence to support his conviction.

William “Bill” Jay Holder, 88, of Macon, passed away, Sunday, May 8, 2022. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with the Reverends Jason Dillard and John Haney officiating. The family greeted friends one hour prior to the service. Isaiah Norris didn’t grow up too far away from Columbia, but he certainly took the scenic route before arriving to play football at South Carolina. A product of T.L. Hanna, where he was teammates with Gamecocks defensive tackle Zacch Pickens, Norris began his college career at New Mexico Military Institute. He would later transfer to play at Georgia Military College.

High School Football Program Addresses Dan Mullen Rumors

Dan Mullen will be working with the football program at Lake Oconee Academy in Georgia this season, but not as offensive coordinator.
