2 people, including 14-year-old boy, killed in Eaton County crash

EATON COUNTY, MI -- Two people were killed and another was injured in a Sunday evening crash in Eaton County. Deputies from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-car crash around 9:20 p.m. May 22, at the intersection of N. Cochran Road and E. Vermontville Highway in Chester Township. An 18-year-old male driver headed south had collided with a vehicle carrying a 47-year-old man, a 47-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy from Haslett, police said.

Parole denied for Michigan man who killed 4 women in 1970s

LANSING (AP) — The Michigan Department of Corrections has denied parole for a convicted serial killer who confessed to killing four women in the Lansing area in the 1970s. Don Miller, 67, will next be eligible for parole Aug. 29, 2027, the Eaton County prosecutor's office said last Friday in a release. The office said it was notified last Thursday that Miller had been denied parole.
