New Location Same Great Food The Rusty Crab in Mars Hill

If you have been through the downtown of Mars Hill over the last year you may have noticed some changes that have been taking place. The building that was once known as ER Grew and Sons Clothing Store has been torn down and a new building was constructed on the same site. A popular seafood truck has now become a sit-down restaurant experience and has helped transform the look of downtown.

Busy weekend for the annual Mapleton Daze

MAPLETON, Maine (WAGM) - It was a busy weekend in the town of Mapleton for their annual Mapleton Daze. ”A community tradition” was back in the town of Mapleton. The annual Mapleton Daze was held this past week from June 21st-26th. Many people gathered for events like a drive thru dinner, an FMX dirt bike show, fireworks, music, a parade, and so much more. Lynnelle Foster, the President of the Mapleton Daze Committee, says a lot of planning goes into the event all year round.

Titi’s House Summer Fun Fundraiser

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - The Titi’s House Summer Fun Fundraiser was held in Presque Isle this past weekend. The local youth organization held a fundraiser at Mantle Lake on Saturday. It was a day of fun events -- including games, raffles, food, face painting, 3-on-3 basketball and a Horseshoe tournament. Several families and community members attended, and all proceeds went towards the funding of Titi’s House.

Walking with Moms in Need, a Falmouth-based organization supported by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, is hopeful the court’s ruling bolsters their effort to bring volunteers on board.
