Michigan father allegedly kills daughter’s boyfriend for assaulting her

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, MI – A Michigan man allegedly used a shotgun to kill his daughter’s boyfriend this week, WDIV Detroit reports. A 66-year-old Harrison Township man is accused of shooting and killing Jomarr Pye, 43, of Harrison Township, early Wednesday, June 16, police said. The father apparently believed that Pye had assaulted his daughter, who was also Pye’s girlfriend, which led to the shooting at Prentiss Apartments.

The utility's online outage map shows about 2,300 homes and business in an area between Card and Romeo Plank roads, south of 23 Mile Road, are impacted by the outage.

Cement truck mixer rolls, driver injured

GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP — The driver of a cement truck mixer was injured after the vehicle rolled onto its side Tuesday morning. The rollover occurred in the vicinity of 5879 U.S. Highway 19 at around 8:44 a.m., according to the Crawford County 911 Center. Firefighters from Greenwood, Vernon Central, Cochranton and Conneaut Lake fire departments responded to the scene, as did Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville troopers and Conneaut Lake Area Ambulance Service.
