Water, Sewer & Landfill Rates Increase July 1

Following recommendation by an independent cost-of-service study, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utility Commission approved increases in water and sewer rates for the 2022-2023 fiscal year budget. Local water and sewer rates have historically ranked second lowest amongst peer utilities in the state and we're happy to confirm that the new rates have retained that status.

MOCKSVILLE, N.C. — After two people were shot and killed Sunday night in Mocksville, law enforcement has warrants out for the arrest of the suspected killer.
