Andy Hunter Memorial Service

Andy Eugene Hunter Sr. was born May 24, 1959, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie J. Hunter (Annie Bertha) of Blakely, Ga., Early County. On June 6, 2020, after a long, and courageous battle with cancer, Andy died peacefully with his children and their mother by his side. Although Andy lost the battle; his initial prognosis was 18 months. His determination and a tenacious zeal for life, afforded him a bonus of 4 more years. Andy’s positive and encouraging demeanor, through it all, humbled his medical team gaining their sincere admiration, respect, and love – they coined Andy “a miracle.” We celebrate, and honor how our beloved, lived the character he possessed. His work ethic and professionalism inspired others. His passion and commitment to nature; God’s creation, and the love and devotion he had for his children, family, and friends, gave him the greatest joy.
