(HOUGHTON, MI) For bargain hunters there may be no better target than gas, with the cheapest station in the Houghton area offering savings of $0.12 per gallon. According to a survey by GasBuddy, Murphy USA at 997 Razorback Dr was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $2.97 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. Camp Coffee Company, which is based in L’Anse, expanded this week by opening at Grace + Gather in Downtown Houghton. Eleven garden mini-grant recipients announced

HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) - Garden mini-grants helped grow and establish educational gardens this year. To engage students in environmental stewardship, the Michigan Tech Center for Science & Environmental Outreach partnered with Keweenaw Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Keweenaw Land Trust, Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative, and Friends of the Land of Keweenaw (FOLK) created a $75 Gardening Mini-Grant Program to help start or improve existing school or community gardens before the end of the school year.
