Officials Say Vehicle Crashed Into Building in Poughkeepsie

Officials were on the scene Monday afternoon after a vehicle reportedly hit a building. There aren't too many details available, but we know that the accident happened around 6:45 PM, according to the Eastern Dutchess County Fire and Rescue Facebook page. For anyone who was planning to attend Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro's final 2022 State of the County Town Hall scheduled for this evening, you are going to need to adjust your plans. The Town Hall has been rescheduled for Monday, May 23rd, starting at 5:30pm. The event will be held at the American Legion in the Village of Wappingers Falls (7 Spring Street). This is an opportunity for residents to hear about the highlights of the State of the County, along with having their questions answered. Elderly firefighters get special visit after long COVID hiatus

HUDSON – Elderly firefighters residing in the Firefighters Association of New York (FASNY) Firemen’s Home in Hudson on Sunday were treated to their first in-person gathering since the start of the pandemic.
