More storms tonight knock down temperatures for the weekend

DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - Friday: For the vast majority of the daytime hours today we are dry, but there are a few scattered showers out, and about that, you may have to dodge here and there. Temperatures today climb into the mid and upper 80s away from the lake, with most in the 70s along the lake shore. Late this evening is when we begin to see changes around 8:00, a line of showers and storms will start to advance from west to east through the early morning hours on Saturday. This line of showers of storms also brings the best threat of severe weather today. The further west you are, the higher your risk of severe weather. The biggest threats with any severe storms we do see would be large hail and damaging winds. Temperatures tonight fall into the 50s by the lake and 60s further inland.
