‘Big Gulp’ at 7/11 as woman crashes into storefront

A woman crashed her Kia Soul into the storefront of the 7/11 on 500 N. University Ave. in Provo at 11 a.m. Thursday. Lesly Franco, a native of Spain, said she was about to park in front of the 7/11 and accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes. Franco’s car managed to go entirely inside the store, and the Provo Fire Department towed it out at 11:30 a.m.

PROVO, Utah — An Idaho man is fighting for his life at Utah Valley Hospital after suffering a severe brain injury during a dirt biking trip. Tanner Chadwick, 29, and friends were riding dunes at “Silk Hill” in Caineville, near Capitol Reef National Park, when he crashed Saturday.
