UPDATE: Multiple people displaced after two-alarm fire Wednesday night

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire at 9 p.m. Wednesday night. Crews were called to a fire at a row of town homes in northwest Lincoln, north of 7th & Benton. Battalion Chief Mark Majors tells 10/11 NOW a second alarm was declared shortly after the first-arriving crews began working to put out the blaze.

A Republican U.S. congressman in Nebraska who resigned from office following his March 2022 conviction for lying to the FBI was sentenced to probation on Tuesday.
