Rabid raccoon confirmed in Stittville
STITTVILLE — A raccoon has tested positive for rabies in Stittville. The raccoon was sent to the New York State Department of Health Wadsworth Center for testing on Monday and positive results were reported on Tuesday. One person and a dog were exposed to the raccoon and received treatment.
