SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left one person dead and four others injured Sunday morning east of St. Charles. The Highway Patrol says two vehicles were traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 18. The 55-year-old driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado did a u-turn and collided with a 2008 Chevy Silverado.

ST. CHARLES, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Authorities say one person is dead and several others are hurt after a crash in south central South Dakota. The crash took place early Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 14 three miles east of St. Charles, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

There’s a wildfire spreading across the rough Missouri River breaks on the Smikle Ranch north of Herrick, South Dakota. No smoke, no flashing lights. The South Dakota Class 'B' Boys and Girls Golf State Tournament concluded Tuesday in Rapid City with the Gregory boys and Bison/Hettinger/Scranton girls taking home the team State Championships.

After the dust had settled – well, technically, after the rain cleared – Gregory was the top boys ‘B’ golf team in the state. On Tuesday at Elks Golf Course in Rapid City, in what was one of the more bizarre tournaments with weather, a decision was made to cancel the second round of the state tournament. This meant all individual and team standings would be decided by the first-round results.

RAPID CITY – The Class B boys golf team and individual champions won their titles on Tuesday without ever having to play a shot. Weather and conditions at Elks Golf Course forced the cancellation of the final 18 holes of the SDHSAA Class B Boys Golf Championship. Players that had not completed play on Monday did so on Tuesday before the champions were crowned.
