Coppell's Chiaka Ogbogu, Women's Volleyball Head to Semifinals at Tokyo Olympics

The reality of being in an Olympics is better than the dream ever was for Chiaka Ogbogu. “It doesn’t even compare,” Ogbogu said after she and USA women’s volleyball advanced to the semifinal game in the Tokyo Olympics. “I feel like I have just had a lot of childlike joy for this. Our biggest thing has been staying present and being where our feet are. To know that we have made it to the semifinals in a year of losses and a year of waiting. We are finally here. It’s amazing.”

Free meals provide for all students this year

There’s still no such thing as a free lunch, even if students don’t have to pony up any money at the cafeteria this year. The United States Department of Agriculture has issued extended waivers that will allow schools to offer free meals — breakfast and lunch — to all students for the 2021-2022 school year. Typically, a student’s household income must adhere to eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals, but that is not the case this year. Classes begin Aug. 12 for Wylie students.

Wine Aerator Pourer Review

Some links are affiliate links meaning at no additional cost to you, this site may get a small commission if you make a purchase. I have reviewed a number of wine aerators over the years ranging from decanter-style to in-the-bottle aerators that look like an electric pump to simply a smaller in-the-bottle manual aerator. With all the aerators I have tried, I keep a couple of aerators on hand based on how much aeration a particular wine may need. Most of the time a bottle does not need much aeration, so I usually go back to the VinOair wine aerator. It is simple and does a great job.

Chicken Caesar Salad

There’s a salad place near my house that makes a killer chicken caesar salad. It’s my go-to, no-so-guilty pleasure. I love it so much. For some reason it tastes so much better than me making chicken caesar salad at home. Only thing is, it’s ridiculously expensive. Especially because I know that for the price I pay, I can probably make myself at least 4 salads.
