The locally owned & operated Hershey’s & Great American Cookie Co., located at 109 Arnould Blvd in Lafayette, is reopening on Thursday, July 7th, after renovations. If you have visited this Hershey’s / Great American Cookie at all in the past 15+ years, then you already know that this place was extremely dated and in need of an update. Well, they did it, they have quickly brought the location into the Gen Z/Gen Alpha era with a brighter, softer color scheme and modern equipment.

The Stage Karaoke Bar Expanding Into Former Legend’s Space On Verot

The Stage Karaoke Bar, Lafayette’s premier friendly karaoke bar is expanding into a new, larger space located in the former Legend’s on Verot at 2921 Verot School Road. The friendly karaoke business first opened in the former Coyote Blues bar space on Johnston Street earlier this year, sharing a space with GL Mongolian Grill. During the past few months, The Stage has become a hot spot for those looking to get out and have fun without going to the typical nightclub.

As the City of Lafayette’s first brewery, Adopted Dog Brewing is inspired by different breweries from around the country where craft ambers & pales flow freely amongst friends & family. And since breweries are often located in thriving cities that are surrounded by an eclectic demographic, Adopted Dog Brewing’s experience will be approachable for all with something for everyone, even the non-beer drinkers. For example, the new Lafayette brewery will feature freshly brewed specialty root beer for kids and adults to enjoy along with a short food menu.
